  • Abstract
The substation of DC system, which generates DC line voltage with 12-pulse diode rectifiers, has the rise in DC line voltage because it doesn´t absorb the regenerative power caused by electric brakes of a train. To tackle this problem, the IGBT regenerative inverter is installed in the DC system to recycle the surplus regenerative power by delivering it to the supply grid. In this paper, the regenerative motion control algorithm of 3-phase PWM AC/DC converter is used to deliver the regenerative power to the supply grid and stabilize the line voltage. It is confirmed that the high quality regenerative power is delivered to the supply grid using computer simulations
