  • Abstract
    The aim of this paper is to implement the hand gesture detection by examine the monocular video images under complex background. Skin color detection and background subtraction algorithm are adopted to achieve the detection of hand gesture area from video image. The implement of arm removal and noise reduction algorithm is proved beneficial to reduce the redundancy from binary image of hand gesture.
