Research and Application of Light Portal in the Enterprise

With the rapid development of computer network, constructing enterprise information system has been improved greatly. When designing information system for certain enterprise, we usually compile it with some standard components instead of developing a thorough new version. This presents us some new problems, for example information overload, complicated system, data conflict and so on. If the components are combined together directly, the whole function is reduced reversely sometime. So EIP has been paid more and more attention. EIP can integrate relatively independent systems and heterogeneous systems together effectively. Getting information automatically also make it convenient for user to obtain information without reload large scale of data. EIP can void existence of island information, reduce duplicate investment, and provide a more complete solution. In this paper, Light Portal is used to construct and realize a system for machinery industry considering its actual characteristics.
