Abstract :
Intracavity second-harmonic generation of a diode-pumped unidirectional Nd:YLiF4 ring laser oscillating on the sigma-polarized 4F3/2 - 4I13/2 transition (lambda~T314 nm) with a temperature-tuned PPKTP crystal is reported, yielding up to 0.92W tunable (656-658nm) single-frequency output.
