Abstract :
We report on a single-frequency, Nd:YLF laser system producing 55-mJ, 10-nsec pulses at a 1-kHz rate. The system includes a passively Q-switched oscillator with a final amplifier employing a three-bar, 285-W, linear diode pump array.
