Abstract :
In this paper, the structure of hybrid magnetic bearing based on permanent magnet bias with inside displacement sensor is proposed. The operating principle of the hybrid magnetic bearing based on permanent magnet bias is introduced. The matrix method used to analyze electromagnetic force is proposed, which is useful for the hybrid magnetic bearing design. Coupling characteristics of the hybrid magnetic bearing is given for an example. Study shows that the structure of the hybrid magnetic bearing biased by permanent magnet proposed is feasible and the calculation method for hybrid magnetic circuit used in this paper is correct.
