Abstract :
Provides a method for automatic translation UML diagrams to Petri nets, which is to convert formats like structure .xmi and .cpn. We consider the transformation of the most frequently used items on activity diagram - state action, condition, fork and join based on rules transformation. These elements are shown in activity diagram and its corresponding Petri net. It is noted that in active diagram presence four types elements - state action, a pseudostate, final state and transition, in Petri nets involved three types elements - place, transition and arc. Discussed in detail the comparison of initial state, state action and final state of activity diagram and places Petri nets - element name and its properties.
