Abstract
The main principle of the linear generator in the Maglev was introduced in detail. Based on the dimensions of long stator motor in Germany TR08 Maglev, the variations of the electromotive force were highlighted along the motor´s performances by the finite element method (FEM), such as currents, pole pitch and the air gap length. Then the curves of the amplitude of the electromotive force vs the rotor current and the air gap were obtained by the Fourier method. At last, the comparison between the results of the 2D FEM and the 3D FEM prove that the results of the 2D FEM are precise enough
