  • Abstract
Computer-supported human-to-human interaction as a means of advanced interpersonal communication is investigated. The general aspects and basic concepts are outlined and a straightforward method of using specific computerized tools in the support of human-to-human communication is suggested. The primary goal of the contribution is to motivate and inspire future research into the challenging area of how machines may aid in one of the most subjective human activities, interpersonal communication. It is shown that the introduction of specific and intentional computer-based processing of human messages highly enhances the probability of error-free and adequate human-to-human message transfer. By introducing an intelligent machine into the interpersonal discourse, distortion of the factual content in the messages is eliminated or at least drastically reduced
