Abstract :
An algorithm for balancing energy demand generation is proposed in this paper. The algorithm is based on prediction of the energy imbalance in the transmission system and generates a demand in a form of {volume, price} in such a way that expected regulation energy costs are not increased while taking into account uncertainty in the prediction. Functionality of the proposed algorithm is presented in a case study and possible modifications of the Czech balancing energy market policies are suggested.
