  • Abstract
    In this preliminary study the authors analyzed eyetrack data that was recorded while radiologists reviewed mammography images. The method of collecting the eyetrack data has been previously described by Barrett et al. (Acad. Radiol., vol. 1, p.40-5, 1994). The goal of this effort was to identify areas of microcalcifications from the eyetrack information. The identification of areas of microcalcification was accomplished using a Bayes classifier trained on images for which the presence of microcalcifications was verified by biopsies
