Abstract :
Adaptive predictors with variable coefficients (gains) and variable delays are described. Three structures of such filters are analyzed: a sparse lattice, a cascade of blocks described by one delay/gain element and a mixed structure. Some locally optimal algorithms for computation of gains and delays are proposed.
