Abstract :
We proposed a morphological pyramid multimodal medical image registration algorithm based on quantum particle swarm optimization (QPSO), this approach utilizes the global affine transformation model between images. With the non-linear and multi-resolution properties of the morphological pyramid structure, and bilinear interpolation, this algorithm can be implemented hierarchically and obtain the optimal parameters with QPSO. The experiment shows that this optimizing algorithm can do more effectively and more accurately work than Levenberg-Marquardt (LM) optimizing algorithm.
