Abstract :
In this paper, a solution method to synthesize well-aligned ZnO nanowires (NWs) arrays on flexible substrates was reported. By investigated the growth of ZnO NWs on Polyimide (PI), it was found that the morphology of ZnO NWs arrays on PI could be controlled by adjusting the parameters. When the thickness of the seed layer is 200nm, the concentration of the zinc nitrate and HTMA is among 5mmol/L and 80mmol/L, the ratio of zinc nitrate and HMTA is 1:2, the growth temperature is 80°C, the ultrasonic pretreatment is 15min and the growth time is 6h, the verticality and uniformity of ZnO NWs arrays on PI will be better. We believe that our work will greatly boost the study of ZnO NWs growth on flexible substrate, and further promote the development of flexible nano-generators, self-powered nanosensors and nanosystems etc.
