Abstract
Fujitsu´s passive optical network product, FePX-20, is a multi-service access network delivery system that is fully managed by FENS 3000. The management system is designed and developed in accordance with the principles laid down in ITU-T standards for TMN. This article describes FENS 3000 and discusses the implementation of the product the operational experiences, what has been learnt from the development and a view of the way forward
