  • Abstract
Aimed at the temperature control system of lime to calcine, using the classical PID regulator three parameters need be set up and the system cannot achieve good target value tracking and good disturbance restraining simultaneously. By establishing the model of thermal process in lime kiln, the setpoint filtering two-degree-of-freedom PID regulator is designed with internal model control(IMC) theory. The system performance is directly related to the two adjustable parameters of new PID ragulator. By adjusting the two parameters, the system possesses very good dynamic response performance with good target value tracking and good disturbance restraining characteristics simultaneously. Theoretical analysis and simulation results have shown the validity of the proposed control scheme.
