Abstract
Based on the research subject of harmonic pollution of Nanhai in Foshan, a harmonics survey in Nanhai gird is presented in this paper, on which a large number of statistical analysis have been worked. This survey takes almost a year and includes 490 enterprises, 772 distribution transformers at 12 towns. According to inspecting results, it shows that the harmonic pollution in Nanhai city is more severe than our expectation. Most of industries have been largely polluted by harmonics and the condition is deteriorating at a rapid pace, especially in Metal smelting and Light manufacturing industries, the severe harmonic pollution also appears in Paper making, Printing industry, etc.. Then it can be essentially concluded from the analysis of these datas that the harmonic pollution situation is much more grim in the 3rd, 5th, 7th and 11th harmonics than the others. This paper aims at pointing out the trend and characters of the harmonic pollution in present power grid, which could facilitate the monitoring, evaluation and compensation of harmonics pollution.
