Abstract :
As SDH is spread through the France Telecom network, this is an opportunity to upgrade management applications according to new principles such as the telecommunication management network. With the SEQUOIA project, France Telecom has realised the integration of equipment and applications with the Q3 interface, which complies with the UIT-T recommendations and ETSI standards for protocols and information models, into a test-bed network. This network will allow to study the opportunity to introduce the Q3 interface in the France Telecom network (technical feasibility study, introduction costs, exploitation profits). This paper describes agents, equipment simulators, equipment, operating system and the first results of the project
