Abstract :
A simple “task space” controller has been developed for achieving the trade-off between the steady and dynamic tracking and real-time control performance of the pointing system of wheeled self-propelled artillery. In this control scheme, the specific state transformation for the controlled system has been performed to simplify approximately the system dynamic model and achieve a simple feedback linearization stable control.The effectiveness of the control scheme has been verified by simulation tests for an unmanned turret-gun system. This approach can also be utilized for the design and implementation of a large class of modern weapon pointing and platform systems with superior performance capabilities.
