Abstract :
A customized shoe-last system is established based on the line scanning method which can be used for the 3D profile measurement. Point clouds of 3D foot can be measured by the line scanner. The data of point clouds of the preprocessed foot data are modified by using the improved cubic smoothing spline interpolation method together with the least square patch fittings. A standard shoe-last database is established with an open structure, and a method for an automatic extraction of foot parameters is proposed. A segment-based foot-last mapping modeling method based on generative formula is also proposed, thus can modify the standard shoe-last to fit the customer´s foot and obtain the tool path of the customized shoe-last.
