Abstract :
Combined with the application of wireless sensor networks(WSN) for smart grid, this paper constructs the energy model of WSN, analyzing the principle and implementation method of Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy(LEACH) algorithm. In consideration of characteristics of power communication, this paper pointed out weakness of the LEACH algorithm and proposed another improved SG-LEACH algorithm, in which the nodes are divided into common nodes and senior nodes, and the senior nodes can be elected as cluster head nodes with top priority. The simulation results show that SG-LEACH algorithm can effectively average energy consumption, significantly extends node survival time, and improves the transmission efficiency of the network.
