A Novel Variable Weight Method on Fuzzy Synthetic Evaluation

Abstract :
This paper studies the problem of variable weight on fuzzy synthetic evaluation. It analyses the necessity of variable weight and its properties, points out that the calculation amount of general variable weight methods, in which we should derive the changed weight firstly, then obtain the evaluation result, usually is big and they have little flexibility. Then it introduces two new fuzzy comprehensive evaluation functions by the distance of fuzzy sets, which contain a parameter p. Though discussing the two formulas we find we can achieve the goal of variable weight by using them and choosing a suitable parameter p. This new method of variable weight is simple for its calculation and convenient for use, can flexible alter the weight with man´s willing, so it is helpful and useful for practical questions.
