  • Abstract
In this paper, two novel methods are proposed for designing complex allpass filters with equiripple phase responses using Remez exchange algorithm. One is based on solving simultaneous equation, the other is based on the maximum eigenvalue problem. In each method, satisfactory solution is obtained through a few iterations without any initial guess of the solution. One example is presented to show the effectiveness of the methods
