Abstract
Two-way relay network is a new type of modern communication. In this network two terminals can simultaneously transmit and receive information, realize high data rate transmission over the wireless frequency-selective fading channel. Under the assumption of coherent detection, the fading channel coefficients need to be firstly estimated and then used in the detection process of data information. However, conventional linear estimation techniques usually neglect the sparsity of multipath channels. To enhance the accuracy of multipath channel estimation, in this paper, a new convex optimization based sparse channel estimation algorithm for two way relay networks is proposed. The theoretical analysis and simulation results show the validity of this algorithm.
