Abstract :
This paper investigates statistical inference for the mixed accelerated life tests with progressively censored data from the exponential distribution. Based on type II progressively censored data, the maximum likelihood estimators (MLE) of the parameters for Exponential distribution and acceleration equation are obtained. Furthermore, we derive the confidence intervals of the parameters by using bootstrap methods. Besides, the estimators of the failure rate, the reliability function and mean life are also given at normal stress level. We also derive the approximated unbiased estimation of failure rate and mean life. Finally, we present an example to illustrate all the methods of inference discussed here.
