  • Abstract
20th-order rational harmonic mode-locked (RHML) pulses are demonstrated by using 1 GHz backward dark-optical comb injection semiconductor optical amplifier. A less pronounced high-order RHML mechanism than gain-switching is observed from red-shifted wavelength and reduced linewidth.
