Abstract :
Class 2 and 3 adaptive filters utilize smoothing to obtain estimates of expected signal and/or noise. These estimates are then utilized to form estimation, detection and other algorithms. In this paper we discuss the selection of different transforms and the use of smoothing in Class 2/3 and 3 adaptive filters. These results are used to design EKG adaptive filters.
