Abstract :
Due to the problem that the process of traditional remote sensing fusion with large amount of data has poor real-time performance, a fast fusion approach of Panchromatic and Multispectral images based on lifting wavelet is proposed. Running speed is improved by the combination of lifting wavelet transform and fast IHS transform. Moreover, the complementarity of the two transform can improve the quality of the fused image. The experimental result indicates that the algorithm proposed in this paper can not only obtain a good fusion result, but also has a well real-time performance.
