Abstract
In this paper, we present main features of IQRF, a new communication platform specifically developed for wireless sensor mesh networks (WSMN) and its applications such as a building automation. Basic components and functions of IQRF are described. The case study proves a convenient use of WSMN and its benefits over the other network topologies prevalent in smart buildings.
