Abstract :
In the image preprocessing, by using the set theory of morphology, the global image of hand vein is extracted, and the denoising, smoothing, refinement and deburring of the image are carried out. A new feature extraction method is proposed called feature extraction based on region codes, and five types of feature values are obtained for feature matching. The recognition experiment is carried out based on sample library, and the reject rate is 2.13% and the error rate is 1.37%. Finally, the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified.
