Abstract
There is no doubt, influenced by more communication. For industrial wireless communication it is especially important to know what kinds of parameters have to be considered because they are relevant for this application field, and what their effects are. The main focus of this paper is the definition of all relevant parameters which might influence the timely and error behaviour of industrial wireless communication systems. These definitions were described together with the development of a model approach for industrial wireless transfer tests. These parameters are not only necessary to assess the reliability of wireless solutions, but also to describe device features and use cases.
