Abstract
In this paper, a quasi-dimensional turbulent combustion model for SI engines was thoroughly studied. The fractal expression of the turbulent flame speed was incorporated into the combustion model. The research reveals that the Gibson scale is more applicable than the Kolmogorov scale. As a phenomenal description of combustion process, the fractal is also an effective tool.
