Abstract :
We provide a guided tour of the essential elements of fuzzy dynamic programming. We present both the aspects that are now classic in any discussion of the topic as well as its modern variants including our recently introduced fuzzy criterion dynamic programming. We include the computational aspects a well as various key real world applications. We conclude with a paint brush of the research topics that have potential for significant contributions to the field
