Abstract :
As a kind of interactive multimedia applications, multi-view video represents the trend of next multimedia application in network, interaction and reality. Especially in the IOT (Internet of things) environment, its application will be more extensive and in-depth. This paper briefly introduces the multi-view video technology, explains the principle and coding structure of multi-view video, discusses two kinds of video monitoring applications mode in Internet of things, focuses on the application of the intelligent security systems in the IOT environment, introduces the application prospect of multi-view video and the existing challenges at the end.
