Abstract :
In this paper we present a possibility to extract information from a chaotic transmission system using a phase locked loop receiver. This approach is based on the observation of periodic components in the transmitted signal and therefore it is especially applicable to periodically forced chaotic systems, such as the circuit described by Carroll (1994). Our method may be used in every case, where the periodic components of the signal are influenced by the information signal (e.g. changes in phase or frequency)
