Abstract :
It is suspected that chaos will be useful for communications, but little is known about how real communications channels will degrade chaotic signals. In this work, the signals from two different chaotic transmitters are passed through filters to simulate some kinds of channel distortion. The effect of the filtering is determined by measuring the signal strength of a test signal detected by a synchronized chaotic receiver
