Abstract :
The paper presents a communication protocol tailored for PFM. The aim of the protocol is to preserve and utilize the statistical properties of such signals to maximize the throughput of information. Arbitration circuitry based on the Winner Take All circuit is included with brief simulation results. The arbitration circuit should be easy to adapt to a wide range of projects using PFM-modulation
