Abstract :
Aimed at the motor stalling problem of electric bicycle for the battery under voltage, an automatic sustainer for electric bicycle based on the MSP430 is designed in this paper. The sustainer can monitor and forecast the speed and mileage of the electric bicycle by Hall sensor in real-time, then regulate the voltage and speed to avoid the stalling and extend the driving once the battery becomes under voltage. The experimental result shows that the design is reasonable, universal, easy to operate and worthy of promotion.
