Abstract :
The multiscale modeling methods are one of the most investigated subjects in literature in recent years. Their wide range of applications covers many fields of science, including innovative materials and production engineering. This paper presents algorithms of multiscale modeling implemented on heterogeneous architectures, which are applied to simulate metal forming production processes. The influence of the different computing devices on obtained results as well as efficiency of proposed algorithms are discussed within this work. The computations are verified using a process of ribbed rod heat treatment.
