Abstract
In this paper, we have discussed the frequency aspects of the Quantum dot cellular automata (QCA) circuits. Techniques to operate a QCA circuit at a frequency which is a fraction of the universal clock frequency are presented. For the purpose many intermediate circuits like periodic signal generator and master-slave flip-flop circuits are designed. Prospective applications are suggested and their implementation details are discussed.
