  • Abstract
More and more resources are becoming available on the Web, there is a growing need for infrastructures that, based on advertised descriptions, are able to semantically match demands with supplies. OWL-S is a sufficiently expressive and flexible service description language to be used not only in advertisements, but also in matchmaking queries, negotiation proposals and agreements. In this paper. We take a online bookstore as an example to present an OWL-S approach - fully compliant with the Semantic web vision and technologies - to extended matchmaking between demands and supplies in a semantic- enabled Electronic Marketplace.
