  • Abstract
    According to the simulation analysis and discipline of the yarn´s movement, an efficient method - reflection method is proposed for fitting geometric structure of three-dimensional braided preforms. Using C++ and Solidworks API, the software which can automatically generate the integral geometric structure of three-dimensional braided performs is programmed. Compared with the traditional method, the novel method significantly simplifies the simulation process without affecting the precision of geometric structure. As a result, the process design time of the preform is shortened. It establishes the foundation of microstructure and mechanical properties analysis for the preforms with complex geometric structures.
