Abstract :
It is assumed that all associated parameters, concerning factors and workflows are deterministic in the classical definition about field engineering. But this conception usually is too simplistic to meet increasing requirements to raise the efficiency of production and service, especially for the fast developing and more elaborate fleet of trucks. The modern fleet of truck needs more flexible management, real-time parameter information, and analysis data online. The advances of mobile computing make it become possible to realize the mobile workflow management. The status of the working site can be regarded as a location constraint for the truck on the field. For different activities there are different kinds of the constraints available, which are bound to specific working site. In this article we apply an extended activity diagrams from the Unified Modeling Language to model different types of the location constraints. And we developed a simple workflow model and implemented it within an open pit mining engineering.
