Abstract
Traditional digital control/signal processing algorithms based on shift-operator can be ill-conditioned in high performance applications that involve fast sampling/shorter wordlength. Delta-operator based implementations have been proposed as an alternative. In this paper, a brief review of δ-operator based implementations and its application in two- and multi-dimensional signal processing and reliable simulation of nonlinear systems are provided
