Abstract :
In this paper, we focus on word "mum" which is a popular word all over the wold, and study its EMG curves using Method of Functional Data Analysis. We show that linear model for the data and the estimated regression function can be extended to area of neural activation. If we research the acceleration of some body part, we are getting close to seeing how this remarkable control mechanism produces the movement that we see and feel. The goal of this paper is giving some help for computational simulation of human\´s pronunciation by studying about mechanism of pronunciation "mum".
