Abstract :
Urban Logistics Information Platform (LIP) provides all kinds of logistics information. However, LIP hardly integrates any form of historical or real-time urban traffic information. Hence the regulatory authority could not carry out the agile regulation on urban freight transport. This paper designed a general Urban Freight Service Capacity Integrated Display System (UFSC-IDS) by UML and JFreeChart and illustrated with Beijing, and accordingly proposed the Urban Freight Service Capacity Dynamic Coordination System (UFSC-DCS) based on Matlab Java Builder. The UFSC-DCS effectively supported the transportation agencies dynamically regulate permits of freight trucks access municipal areas to make full use of the road network capacity as well as meet the urban freight demand.
