Abstract
The digital images can be obtained by high-power microscope. Because the sample surface is not focused on a plane, it is difficult to obtain high definition digital images by capturing image one time. This paper advances a new multi-layer digital images superposition algorithm. By focusing on sample surface several times, several images on different focal plane can be obtained. Using the image definition criterion function, we can get a clear area for every layer image. All the clear areas in corresponding image is stitched, a high definition image can be obtained by superposing the multi-layer images. The algorithm and implementation of the multi-layer images superposition will be described in this paper. Experiments show that the algorithm and implementation are useful for obtaining high definition digital images by high-power microscope.
