  • Abstract
    In order to solve the sharing problem of the distance education distributed resource online technically, we described the methods and advantages of building the distance education system based on CORBA/Java, achieve resource sharing and information exchange among the heterogeneous systems. According to this model, we established a C/A/S model framework of the distributed distance education system based on CORBA, and designed and developed the realization of the internal teaching platform in detail. In this paper, we try to solve “how to share the distributed resource among the heterogeneous systems” and “how to achieve high efficient interaction based on the status of network devices in the current” two major problems of the computer distance education development through the application of the CORBA technology in distance education system.
