Abstract :
3D imaging has been a wide research area in recent years, and the related quality assessment is also a hot research field. Our main work is to compare the impact of right view quality and disparity map quality on perceived stereo depth sense. Original right image and disparity map are impaired by additive gauss noise with different noise density respectively. Then two groups of stereoscopic images are obtained. One includes original left image and noised right image, and the other is original left image and synthesized right image using noised disparity map. Experimental results reveal the relationships between PSNR value of the two groups of stereoscopic images and the perceived depth.
