  • Abstract
    The problem of designing two-channel perfect reconstruction filter banks with odd length FIR linear phase analysis and synthesis filters is revisited. Based on an algebraic approach we introduce a complete and canonical lattice structure. Design examples show that, for short length filters, multiplierless realizations providing an acceptable frequency behaviour were attainable
